Worship is the heart’s response to the greatness and goodness of God—a joyful surrender of our lives, voices, and spirits to the One who created and redeemed us. We worship Jesus because He is our Father, our Savior and our King—the One who left heaven for us, lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again providing us the grace and mercy necessary to give us life eternal and restore our relationship with God. As Jesus Himself declared, “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). On our worship team, we seek to lead the church into authentic encounters with God—lifting up His name in Spirit and truth through music, prayer, and wholehearted devotion.
